Vistara HR Solutions is currently recruiting for one of our reputed clients based in Dubai for their upcoming project. The Program Director will be responsible for the design, planning, implementation, and management of the organization’s network infrastructure with a primary focus on Cisco. Overseeing a team of 5 Technical staff responsible for all our Local and Wide area networks, Routers, Switches, Carrier agreements, IP schemes, Wireless networks and Firewall security.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing long-term strategies for network infrastructure and security, aligning them with the organization's overall business goals.
• Team Leadership: Managing and mentoring a team of network engineers, security specialists, and other IT professionals.
• Budget Management: Overseeing the budget for network infrastructure and security projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient resource allocation.
• Project Management: Leading and managing complex network and security projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
• Security Management: Implementing and maintaining robust security protocols, policies, and procedures to protect the organization's network and data from cyber threats.
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards related to network security and data privacy.
• Performance Monitoring: Tracking and analyzing network performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to optimize network efficiency.
• Vendor Management: Managing relationships with vendors and service providers for network hardware, software, and security solutions.
• Emerging Technologies: Staying up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in network security and infrastructure, and evaluating their potential impact on the organization.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
• 20+ Years of proven ability to manage a large and complex technology footprint with experience in managing branch offices.
• 10 plus years experience overseeing staff supporting, maintaining, configuring and installing Cisco network routers and switches in a very large, distributed environment.
• Strong leadership, communication and project management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities and projects.
• Cisco and Checkpoint Certifications Required.
