Vistara HR Solutions is currently recruiting for one of our reputed clients in the Logistics Sector based in Jabel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) Dubai. The incumbent is responsible to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations, managing transportation, warehousing, inventory, and order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to streamline supply chain processes.
• Oversee the transportation and distribution of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other logistics partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate inventory levels and optimize order fulfilment.
• Analyze data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in logistics operations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Negotiate contracts with logistics service providers to secure favorable terms.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
• Lead and mentor the logistics team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Stay informed about industry trends and innovations to enhance logistics strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven 10-12 years of experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication and team management abilities.
• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles, JAFZA Regulations etc.
• Familiarity with WMS System.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
